Frio Hot Shoe Adapters/ Spyder 3 color calibration systems

For all those strobists that went to the Hobby/Mcnalley Flash Bus tour, we got a whole slew of Frio hot shoe mounts. Actually they would be considered Cold Shoes. Any ways, Hobby used this little cool device to connect his Speed lite to that Chinese Globe he uses to shoot with. We here at Peace can show you how to do that.

For all our lovely following that have no idea what i am talking about,

This is a great little widget that will make your strobist life so much easier. It is a way better cold shoe than the other lovely crap coming out of the PRC.

Part II

Color is everything when it comes to Digital Imaging. Your brand new fancy $4000 computer you just bought is giving you crappy color. This is why your pics never look like they do on the LCD on the camera. Spyder 3 Display calibration will allow you to get correct color on your monitor and allow you to make better looking edits for your prints. Right? Cause you print? Nothing more lovely than a 24″x36″ up on the wall.

So the Spyder system calibration is simple. Load the disk to down load the software. Keep hitting OK, An outline of the device shows up on the screen, line em up, and keep hitting “OK” when Prompted. I am not saying my Computer Illiterate Mother can do it, but it truely is simple.

Get better color! so come and see me for it!
