Those of you all that have been to the store most likely have been show or told about how great the Tokina line up of Lenses are. In the DX/EF-S format the Tokina 11-16 f2.8 is a great choice for an ultra wide for your crop sensors. IN the FX format the Tokina 16-28f2.8 and the 17-35f4 are just awesome.
Now until April 8th is the Special Olympics Spring Carnival out on Knightdale NC. Located on 64 business on the left, right after you cross over 540. A great opportunity to test out your knew D800′s and 5D MKIII’s low light capability. Pack up your shutter release, tripod and your wide angle lens. It is for a great cause.

Those not familiar with Joby, they are a company that makes flexible mini tripods called gorillapods. The legs are fairly sturdy and would be great for the traveling photographer. Today we got some new goods in from them. One in paticular is the Joby gorillatorch. This piece i think would be great for those with a passion for macro. One guy i have in mind (He who has way to many Nikkor 50mm f1.8E lenses) would like this. He keeps telling me that when he gets close there is not enough light. Here is quick pic of how i would use the gorillatorch for macro.
